Jobs/applications ratio measures the ratio between job applications and jobs, this is an indicator of the health of the employment in the economy. A higher than expected number should be taken as positive to the EUR, while a lower than expected number as negative. The description states that it is beneficial to the EUR not JPY. I'm sure a correction is needed.
