CPI-ATE (CPI adjusted for tax changes and excluding energy products) is an indicator that is built upon the main components of CPI-AE and CPI-AT. Core inflation, adjusted for taxes and energy prices, is the measure used by the central bank in setting interest rates.
A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive/bullish for the NOK , while a lower than expected reading should be taken as negative/bearish for the NOK.
