This right here being the lowest lumber we’ve had in a long time should at least bring down the price of building homes or any type of renovation

Weeks before the pandemic lumber was 258 it is now 505...since then the average house has doubled and land went up 120%....no wonder houses are still expensive.

During Covid, lumber was $1500. House prices skyrocketed due to this. But, they won't come down.

A fire in the Canadian Shield wouldn't effect lumber prices in the least. Most timber comes from Western Canada.
