Hartford Municipal Real Return A HTNAX primarily invests in tax-exempt obligations issued by states, territories, and possessions of the United States, and their political subdivisions, agencies and instrumentalities. A large portion of the tax-exempt obligations bought by the fund will be of “investment grade” quality. HTNAX seeks to offer income free from federal income tax. Hartford Municipal Real Return A has a one-year annualized return of 2.4%.
HTNAX has an expense ratio of 0.69% compared with the category average of 0.76%.
Hartford Small Company HLS Fund IA HIASX primarily invests its assets in common stocks issued by small capitalization companies. The fund may also invest almost one-fifth of its assets in securities of non-U.S. issuers. Small capitalization companies are those whose market capitalization falls within the collective range of the Russell 2000 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices. HIASX seeks appreciation of capital. Hartford Small Company HLS Fund IA has returned 22.6% in a year.

Hartford Global Growth HLS Fund IA HIALX seeks capital appreciation. HIALX invests heavily in common stocks issued by growth companies. The fund may diversify its investments in securities of issuers based in different countries, including the United States. The fund may also invest almost one-fourth of its assets in securities of companies located in emerging markets. Hartford Global Growth HLS Fund IA has returned 31.8% over the last year.
