App Upgrades Let You Save Your Work and Import Portfolios

Our newest app update incorporates two new features that expand Investing.com’s app offering by enabling you to save your technical analysis, sync your web and mobile experiences and link to your assets on other online financial portals:

  • Save/Load Chart

  • Import Portfolio

  • Save/Load Chart
This feature allows you to save any work you have made on an asset’s technical chart for future viewing. The intervals you used; the indicators you looked at, the trend lines you drew – virtually any modifications you made can be saved to view at a later date by simply clicking the Save Chart Layout icon. To view your saved chart, just click the Load Chart Layout icon.

You’ll have equal access to save/load charts whether you are working from your computer or mobile device.

    Import Portfolio
If you have previously saved portfolio watchlists on Yahoo Finance, you can now easily import them to Investing.com by going to the Portfolio section on the app, tapping the Add Portfolio icon (+), and then selecting Import from YAHOO. Within seconds your entire portfolio will be transferred and receive the full access and benefits of Investing.com’s powerful analytic and portfolio tools.

I want to be able to load a chart layout I have used for a different ticker against the one I am currently looking at in the android app but it doesn't look like this is possible. On the website you can achieve this by typing the ticker into the top left box but you can't do this on the app. I have setup the standard charts I use for analysing a stock but can't find a way of looking at a stock on the app without having to set them up for every stock separately.

Just downloaded the app and there is no option to import from Yahoo finance, just the option to enter all my holdings manually. Was this feature changed? This section is called What's New, but there is no date on the article above. So  perhaps this is old news and the feature has been disabled on the app?

I cannot import the Portfolio exported from your own system! I exported from one signed-in account and then attempted to Import the saved CSV into another account. I usually just see a javascript void(0) error at the bottom of screen. I have tried repeating this in Chrome, Edge, Firefox but all the same. I've tried stripping out the first line "Open Position Summary" and also tried removing the first column on every entry, which is empty ("",). I've tried removing everything after my holdings, starting at line "Market Value", still no good. Why is this so hard? Your own system should accept the data it exports without having to mess around in Notepad.
