With rallye in US seeming to fade or slow, and DAX recording 6 up sessions in a row of which 3 more than 1%, I cannot immagine another pop onMonday. Maybe testing 18850, but after that this will revisit the 18400/18500 area where it will get stuck until Wednesday! Only my humle opinin. I will liquidate my short at 18480! Hpe this works dor me to compensate the huge losses I suffered on that horrible Thurday last week!!

i see min 18,5 on monday, nobody sane buying at these highs, big players will strongly press on algo machines manually, until break trend will accept even algo and joins

I wouldn’t rule out a pop over 19000 if they can they can hold these levels before US opens. A pop over 19k is an absolute must sell imo straight back to 18500 to back fill these lower gaps. If we don’t pop Monday it’s back down to test the 18500 levels before another attempted high into Wednesday US cpi ( expected to be hot ) . The Fed want to cut, but can’t , it’s all about the treasury and funding the massive US deficit. They’ll stay on hold irrespective of the data but markets are desperate for any data which fits their narrative.

I need a 200 points drawdown either on Monday or Tuesday t0 app 18520 before it hits new highs. On Wednesday probably another leg up due to softening inflation in the US. I hope I can sleep in peace again soon. Rarely have I been so wrong as with this index performance. I thought we would hit a double top at 18567 on Thurday instead it stormed up another 300 points. I am speechless and feel irritated as I lost big on this melt up! i hope 18550 to be hit before US inflation!

I was looking at the same, the lower high scenario. I saw the daily cross and the weekly on support but didn’t factor in a new high from 17950 . Certainly not so in 5 days , it’s all a technical squeeze imo . Unlike most I positional trade and always intended to run these trades sub 17k and lower. I know they’re coming, you know they’re coming, the market knows they’re coming , it’s a matter of when. The next down leg of 2000-3000 should occur within 2-3 months end of 2nd quarter or start of 4th quarter. For the next few months I see this trading in a 1500 point range. Would i buy here- not a chance, neither would most funds. When we get to lower support levels 18000 watch for the break to 17400 and so on . A massive gap at 17200 and a break below 17k opens . Watch for support levels and the narrative to change in the msm .
