Investing.com - Asian shares were flat to higher on Monday with Tokyo closed for a public holiday and other market taking relief from Friday's rebound in the US.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 edged down 0.01% with Santos down 1.03% and Beach Energy off 3.1% as oil prices fell last week. In Greater China the Shanghai Composite rose 0.80% and the Hang Seng rose 0.71%.
Last week, the Dow settled up 1.38%. The S&P 500 rallied 1.49% and the Nasdaq composite added 1.44%.
