Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Transport and Basic Metals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 2.58% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Deva Holding AS (IS:DEVA), which rose 9.38% or 0.410 points to trade at 4.780 at the close. Meanwhile, Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:ERBOS) added 9.11% or 6.90 points to end at 82.65 and Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:ASELS) was up 8.82% or 3.12 points to 38.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:KARSN), which fell 4.71% or 0.090 points to trade at 1.820 at the close. Trabzonspor Sportif Yatirim ve Futbol Isletmeciligi Ticaret AS (IS:TSPOR) declined 2.77% or 0.070 points to end at 2.460 and Ayen Enerji AS (IS:AYEN) was down 2.57% or 0.130 points to 4.930.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 243 to 104 and 56 ended unchanged.
Shares in Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:ERBOS) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.11% or 6.90 to 82.65. Shares in Trabzonspor Sportif Yatirim ve Futbol Isletmeciligi Ticaret AS (IS:TSPOR) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.77% or 0.070 to 2.460. Shares in Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:ASELS) rose to all time highs; up 8.82% or 3.12 to 38.50.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.37% or 4.71 to $1273.91 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.08% or 0.60 to hit $56.24 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.59% or 0.99 to trade at $63.06 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 1.24% to 3.8389, while EUR/TRY fell 1.42% to 4.4496.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.89.
