Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Agriculture and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 1.69%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS), which rose 34.56% or 47.00 points to trade at 183.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) added 24.65% or 70.00 points to end at 354.00 and Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (JK:GDYR) was up 16.85% or 300.00 points to 2080.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PT First Indo American Leasing Tbk (JK:FINN), which fell 21.79% or 34 points to trade at 122 at the close. Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) declined 18.03% or 11.00 points to end at 50.00 and PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) was down 15.63% or 250 points to 1350.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 331 to 57 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) fell to all time lows; down 18.03% or 11.00 to 50.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.92% or 0.59 to $63.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.15% or 0.78 to hit $66.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.80 to trade at $1346.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 13556.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 10680.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 89.36.
