Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Consumer Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk (JK:JKSW), which rose 34.85% or 23 points to trade at 89 at the close. Meanwhile, Kedawung Setia Industrial Tbk (JK:KDSI) added 25.00% or 230 points to end at 1150 and Anabatic Technologies Tbk PT (JK:ATIC) was up 24.59% or 225 points to 1140 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk (JK:SDMU), which fell 24.77% or 55 points to trade at 167 at the close. Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) declined 24.04% or 88 points to end at 278 and Inter-Delta Tbk (JK:INTD) was down 21.26% or 74.00 points to 274.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 254 to 139 and 106 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk (JK:SDMU) fell to 52-week lows; falling 24.77% or 55 to 167. Shares in Kedawung Setia Industrial Tbk (JK:KDSI) rose to all time highs; rising 25.00% or 230 to 1150. Shares in Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) fell to all time lows; down 24.04% or 88 to 278. Shares in Anabatic Technologies Tbk PT (JK:ATIC) rose to all time highs; gaining 24.59% or 225 to 1140.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.51% or 0.99 to $64.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.66% or 1.24 to hit $73.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 9.30 to trade at $1265.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 14099.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.29% to 10300.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 95.16.
