Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Kimia Farma Persero Tbk (JK:KAEF), which rose 24.63% or 500 points to trade at 2530 at the close. Meanwhile, Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (JK:GTBO) added 24.50% or 74 points to end at 376 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was up 18.83% or 84 points to 530 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA), which fell 22.67% or 34.00 points to trade at 116.00 at the close. Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS) declined 19.81% or 82 points to end at 332 and Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) was down 15.38% or 80 points to 440.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 226 to 160 and 117 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA) fell to all time lows; falling 22.67% or 34.00 to 116.00. Shares in Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (JK:GTBO) rose to 3-years highs; up 24.50% or 74 to 376.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.24% or 0.16 to $66.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.34% or 0.26 to hit $75.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1296.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.38% to 13983.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.07% to 10486.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 94.39.
