Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Arita Prima Indonesia Tbk (JK:APII), which rose 33.77% or 51 points to trade at 202 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Bukopin Tbk (JK:BBKP) added 24.86% or 86 points to end at 432 and PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) was up 24.81% or 320 points to 1610 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (JK:TNCA), which fell 24.81% or 65 points to trade at 197 at the close. Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk (JK:AISA) declined 21.72% or 53 points to end at 191 and Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) was down 18.75% or 54 points to 234.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 255 to 141 and 103 ended unchanged.
Shares in PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (JK:TNCA) fell to all time lows; falling 24.81% or 65 to 197. Shares in Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk (JK:AISA) fell to 5-year lows; down 21.72% or 53 to 191. Shares in Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) fell to all time lows; falling 18.75% or 54 to 234.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.62% or 0.46 to $73.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.92% or 0.73 to hit $78.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 4.90 to trade at $1249.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.67% to 14387.8, while AUD/IDR fell 0.46% to 10555.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 94.57.
