Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Trade sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Pyridam Farma Tbk (JK:PYFA), which rose 27.66% or 39 points to trade at 180 at the close. Meanwhile, Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) added 26.04% or 25.00 points to end at 121.00 and Kimia Farma Persero Tbk (JK:KAEF) was up 24.84% or 380 points to 1910 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO), which fell 10.00% or 16 points to trade at 144 at the close. Bank Pundi Indonesia Tbk (JK:BEKS) declined 9.88% or 8 points to end at 73 and Mitra Investindo Tbk (JK:MITI) was down 9.68% or 12 points to 112.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 181 to 109 and 111 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.17% or 0.08 to $48.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $50.85 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 6.35 to trade at $1350.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.44% to 13168.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.56% to 10002.15.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 94.42.
