Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Basic Industry and Consumer Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB), which rose 34.75% or 49 points to trade at 190 at the close. Meanwhile, Trimitra Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:LAND) added 24.86% or 230 points to end at 1155 and Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk PT (JK:AKSI) was up 24.86% or 86 points to 432 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD), which fell 18.93% or 106 points to trade at 454 at the close. Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 (JK:SDRA) declined 16.67% or 150 points to end at 750 and Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) was down 10.53% or 40.00 points to 340.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 223 to 144 and 125 ended unchanged.
Shares in Trimitra Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:LAND) rose to all time highs; rising 24.86% or 230 to 1155.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.35% or 0.24 to $69.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.37% or 0.29 to hit $77.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1208.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.44% to 14726.8, while AUD/IDR fell 0.14% to 10657.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 94.53.
