Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Property, Financials and Consumer Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Rimo International Lestari Tbk PT (JK:RIMO), which rose 26.32% or 50.000 points to trade at 240.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR) added 24.84% or 380 points to end at 1910 and Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (JK:GPRA) was up 23.97% or 29 points to 150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Victoria Investama Tbk (JK:VICO), which fell 24.52% or 76 points to trade at 234 at the close. Sekar Bumi Tbk (JK:SKBM) declined 19.35% or 120 points to end at 500 and Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN) was down 17.53% or 850 points to 4000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 178 to 126 and 118 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.81% or 0.36 to $43.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.81% or 0.38 to hit $46.33 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.28 to trade at $1207.42 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13402.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.01% to 10199.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 95.92.
