Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Consumer Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which rose 32.67% or 49 points to trade at 199 at the close. Meanwhile, Sekar Bumi Tbk (JK:SKBM) added 24.26% or 165 points to end at 845 and Barito Pacific Tbk (JK:BRPT) was up 15.48% or 130 points to 970 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which fell 10.00% or 36 points to trade at 324 at the close. Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS) declined 9.92% or 125 points to end at 1135 and Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) was down 9.72% or 42.00 points to 390.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 197 to 102 and 74 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.17% or 0.52 to $45.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.16% or 0.54 to hit $47.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1340.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.33% to 13045.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.23% to 9949.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 95.27.
