Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk PT (JK:CITA), which rose 1,125.00% or 2,250.00 points to trade at 2,450.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Pt (JK:SAMF) added 566.67% or 680.00 points to end at 800.00 and Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:BRIS) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 2,730.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN), which fell 99.90% or 6,793.00 points to trade at 7.00 at the close. Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk PT (JK:BLTA) declined 99.74% or 8,478.00 points to end at 22.00 and Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) was down 99.31% or 9,683.00 points to 67.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 375 to 291 and 169 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.43% or 0.33 to $77.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $80.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 9.70 to trade at $2,545.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.39% to 15,526.90, while AUD/IDR rose 0.52% to 10,528.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 100.73.
