Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Mandala Multifinance Tbk (JK:MFIN), which rose 1,494.87% or 2,915.00 points to trade at 3,110.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,185.71% or 24,900.00 points to end at 27,000.00 and Siantar Top Tbk (JK:STTP) was up 537.50% or 11,825.00 points to 14,025.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC), which fell 99.37% or 9,689.00 points to trade at 61.00 at the close. Slj Global Tbk (JK:SULI) declined 98.93% or 8,904.00 points to end at 96.00 and Ekadharma International Tbk (JK:EKAD) was down 96.62% or 6,280.00 points to 220.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 373 to 285 and 170 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.88% or 0.71 to $80.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.80% or 0.68 to hit $84.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 13.75 to trade at $2,442.65 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 16,182.00, while AUD/IDR fell 0.36% to 10,904.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 103.97.
