Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Property sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were PT Pelayaran Tamarin Samudra Tbk (JK:TAMU), which rose 25.00% or 98 points to trade at 490 at the close. Meanwhile, Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) added 22.46% or 62 points to end at 338 and Kmi Wire And Cable Tbk (JK:KBLI) was up 18.53% or 86 points to 550 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI), which fell 27.91% or 24 points to trade at 62 at the close. Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) declined 22.22% or 60 points to end at 210 and Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) was down 10.34% or 75 points to 650.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 196 to 136 and 99 ended unchanged.
Shares in PT Pelayaran Tamarin Samudra Tbk (JK:TAMU) rose to all time highs; up 25.00% or 98 to 490. Shares in Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) fell to 5-year lows; down 27.91% or 24 to 62. Shares in Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) fell to 3-years lows; falling 10.34% or 75 to 650.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $48.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.19% or 0.10 to hit $51.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 10.81 to trade at $1247.21 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.18% to 13317.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.63% to 9810.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 97.89.
