Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Mining, Trade and Miscellaneous Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI), which rose 20.19% or 105 points to trade at 625 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Victoria International (JK:BVIC) added 16.00% or 32 points to end at 232 and Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) was up 11.84% or 18.00 points to 170.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance PT (JK:MTWI), which fell 24.66% or 72 points to trade at 220 at the close. Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN) declined 21.84% or 1070 points to end at 3830 and Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (JK:EMTK) was down 13.64% or 1350 points to 8550.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 175 to 162 and 123 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.17% or 0.09 to $52.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $58.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.12 to trade at $1280.12 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.12% to 13588.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.09% to 10438.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 93.58.
