Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Trade, Miscellaneous Industry and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX), which rose 34.48% or 50 points to trade at 195 at the close. Meanwhile, Danayasa Arthatama Tbk (JK:SCBD) added 22.22% or 400 points to end at 2200 and Pudjiadi & Sons Tbk (JK:PNSE) was up 20.00% or 150 points to 900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT), which fell 24.88% or 102.00 points to trade at 308.00 at the close. Mulia Industrindo Tbk (JK:MLIA) declined 14.75% or 90 points to end at 520 and Indonesia Pondasi Raya Tbk PT (JK:IDPR) was down 12.90% or 200 points to 1350.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 172 to 142 and 130 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danayasa Arthatama Tbk (JK:SCBD) rose to 52-week highs; up 22.22% or 400 to 2200.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.06% or 0.03 to $53.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $55.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 12.05 to trade at $1290.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.18% to 13266.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.27% to 10024.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.19.
