Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Chemstar Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CHEM), which rose 34.55% or 19.00 points to trade at 74.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk Pt (JK:RATU) added 24.82% or 690.00 points to end at 3,470.00 and Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (JK:CMNP) was up 24.74% or 470.00 points to 2,370.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK:BRRC), which fell 23.13% or 68.00 points to trade at 226.00 at the close. Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk PT (JK:SMIL) declined 22.60% or 47.00 points to end at 161.00 and Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:GPSO) was down 13.07% or 100.00 points to 665.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 334 to 315 and 193 ended unchanged.
Shares in Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK:BRRC) fell to all time lows; down 23.13% or 68.00 to 226.00. Shares in Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk Pt (JK:RATU) rose to all time highs; up 24.82% or 690.00 to 3,470.00. Shares in Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (JK:CMNP) rose to 5-year highs; up 24.74% or 470.00 to 2,370.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.27% or 0.21 to $77.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.41% or 0.33 to hit $80.68 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 8.94 to trade at $2,687.54 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 16,267.70, while AUD/IDR rose 0.07% to 10,088.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 109.24.
