Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Industry and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Intraco Penta Tbk (JK:INTA), which rose 24.77% or 54 points to trade at 272 at the close. Meanwhile, Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JK:JPFA) added 23.25% or 83 points to end at 440 and Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (JK:AMRT) was up 17.31% or 90 points to 610 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which fell 10.00% or 6 points to trade at 60 at the close. Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) declined 10.00% or 32 points to end at 288 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was down 9.95% or 38 points to 344.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 158 to 156 and 45 ended unchanged.
Shares in Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) fell to 3-years lows; down 10.00% or 6 to 60. Shares in Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) fell to 3-years lows; losing 9.95% or 38 to 344.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.07% or 0.03 to $46.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $49.10 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1147.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.71% to 13708.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.17% to 9645.85.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 97.11.
