Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which rose 33.33% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jakarta Int Hotels & Dev (JK:JIHD) added 25.00% or 98.00 points to end at 490.00 and Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS) was up 22.09% or 19.00 points to 105.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS), which fell 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 at the close. Diamond Citra Propertindo PT (JK:DADA) declined 12.50% or 1.00 points to end at 7.00 and Dyandra Media International (JK:DYAN) was down 10.83% or 13.00 points to 107.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 336 to 247 and 246 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jakarta Int Hotels & Dev (JK:JIHD) rose to 52-week highs; rising 25.00% or 98.00 to 490.00. Shares in Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 22.09% or 19.00 to 105.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.73% or 0.49 to $67.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.66% or 0.47 to hit $71.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 8.50 to trade at $2,764.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.32% to 15,779.15, while AUD/IDR rose 0.12% to 10,367.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 104.17.
