Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Trade, Infrastructure and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS), which rose 23.82% or 101 points to trade at 525 at the close. Meanwhile, Petrosea Tbk (JK:PTRO) added 20.66% or 280 points to end at 1635 and Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (JK:MBSS) was up 14.60% or 100 points to 785 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI), which fell 21.36% or 88 points to trade at 324 at the close. Tifico Fiber Indonesia Tbk (JK:TFCO) declined 12.56% or 125 points to end at 870 and Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (JK:SMDM) was down 12.33% or 18 points to 128.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 192 to 135 and 115 ended unchanged.
Shares in Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) fell to 5-year lows; losing 21.36% or 88 to 324. Shares in Petrosea Tbk (JK:PTRO) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 20.66% or 280 to 1635. Shares in Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (JK:MBSS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 14.60% or 100 to 785.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.16% or 0.09 to $57.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.41% or 0.26 to hit $64.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.72 to trade at $1284.78 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.06% to 13538.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 10359.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 94.35.
