Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Mining and Infrastructure sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU), which rose 19.40% or 130 points to trade at 800 at the close. Meanwhile, Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) added 16.28% or 210 points to end at 1500 and Atlas Resources Tbk (JK:ARII) was up 14.94% or 52 points to 400 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (JK:BRMS), which fell 34.65% or 35 points to trade at 66 at the close. Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS) declined 34.12% or 29 points to end at 56 and Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY) was down 31.51% or 23 points to 50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 204 to 115 and 109 ended unchanged.
Shares in Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) rose to 3-years highs; rising 16.28% or 210 to 1500. Shares in Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS) fell to all time lows; falling 34.12% or 29 to 56. Shares in Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY) fell to 52-week lows; losing 31.51% or 23 to 50.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.10% or 0.59 to $54.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.05% or 0.59 to hit $56.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.71% or 8.75 to trade at $1230.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13372.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.23% to 10302.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 101.50.
