Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Consumer Industry and Trade sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA), which rose 20.95% or 31.00 points to trade at 179.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) added 16.51% or 36 points to end at 254 and Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (JK:HEXA) was up 13.10% or 330 points to 2850 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM), which fell 10.00% or 1200 points to trade at 10800 at the close. Visi Media Asia Tbk (JK:VIVA) declined 10.00% or 24 points to end at 216 and Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) was down 9.88% or 8 points to 73.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 157 to 120 and 96 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA) rose to 52-week highs; up 20.95% or 31.00 to 179.00. Shares in Visi Media Asia Tbk (JK:VIVA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 10.00% or 24 to 216. Shares in Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) fell to all time lows; falling 9.88% or 8 to 73.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.10 to $50.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.44% or 0.23 to hit $52.64 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.45 to trade at $1257.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.38% to 13025.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.79% to 9912.80.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 97.80.
