Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Mining and Infrastructure sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Trikomsel Oke Tbk (JK:TRIO), which rose 34.36% or 67 points to trade at 262 at the close. Meanwhile, Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) added 25.21% or 30 points to end at 149 and Indorama Synthetics Tbk (JK:INDR) was up 25.00% or 1200 points to 6000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk PT (JK:AKSI), which fell 25.00% or 150 points to trade at 450 at the close. Shield On Service Tbk PT (JK:SOSS) declined 24.87% or 240 points to end at 725 and Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) was down 20.40% or 51 points to 199.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 220 to 164 and 122 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $51.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.21% or 0.13 to hit $60.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1229.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.14% to 14481.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.64% to 10523.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.102.
