Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Infrastructure sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which rose 25.00% or 100 points to trade at 500 at the close. Meanwhile, Tri Banyan Tirta Tbk (JK:ALTO) added 24.62% or 96 points to end at 486 and Sentul City Tbk (JK:BKSL) was up 20.41% or 30 points to 177 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which fell 14.14% or 28 points to trade at 170 at the close. Batavia Prosperindo Finance (JK:BPFI) declined 13.67% or 95.00 points to end at 600.00 and Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk (JK:SMBR) was down 11.35% or 420 points to 3280.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 192 to 181 and 112 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sentul City Tbk (JK:BKSL) rose to 3-years highs; up 20.41% or 30 to 177.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.00% or 0.65 to $65.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.07% or 0.74 to hit $69.63 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1343.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.22% to 13423.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.50% to 10735.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 88.83.
