Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM), which rose 34.62% or 18.00 points to trade at 70.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:GPSO) added 24.67% or 185.00 points to end at 935.00 and Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) was up 20.00% or 1,800.00 points to 10,800.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN), which fell 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 at the close. Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) was down 13.08% or 28.00 points to 186.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 328 to 271 and 238 ended unchanged.
Shares in Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN) fell to all time lows; losing 16.67% or 1.00 to 5.00. Shares in Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:GPSO) rose to all time highs; up 24.67% or 185.00 to 935.00. Shares in Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) rose to all time highs; gaining 20.00% or 1,800.00 to 10,800.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.22% or 0.15 to $68.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $72.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.39 to trade at $2,685.41 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.14% to 15,871.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.61% to 10,144.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 105.92.
