Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Cipta Selera Murni Pt (JK:CSMI), which rose 1,348.98% or 2,644.00 points to trade at 2,840.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (JK:SMMA) added 711.11% or 12,800.00 points to end at 14,600.00 and Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk Pt (JK:VICI) was up 525.00% or 525.00 points to 625.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bumi Resources Tbk (JK:BUMI), which fell 1.28% or 1.00 points to trade at 77.00 at the close. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA) declined 97.11% or 2,719.00 points to end at 81.00 and Asuransi Kresna Mitra Tbk PT (JK:ASMI) was down 97.04% or 262.00 points to 8.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 367 to 286 and 179 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.04% or 0.03 to $77.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.12% or 0.10 to hit $80.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 4.80 to trade at $2,432.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.03% to 16,298.50, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10,654.41.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 104.28.
