Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.04% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ), which rose 1,733.33% or 2,080.00 points to trade at 2,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,186.90% or 24,925.00 points to end at 27,025.00 and Indonesian Paradise Property (JK:INPP) was up 933.33% or 980.00 points to 1,085.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI), which fell 99.52% or 5,374.00 points to trade at 26.00 at the close. Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) declined 98.57% or 207.00 points to end at 3.00 and Visi Media Asia Tbk (JK:VIVA) was down 98.33% or 295.00 points to 5.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 476 to 197 and 151 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ) rose to all time highs; gaining 1,733.33% or 2,080.00 to 2,200.00. Shares in Visi Media Asia Tbk (JK:VIVA) fell to all time lows; falling 98.33% or 295.00 to 5.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.40% or 0.32 to $80.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.39% or 0.33 to hit $85.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.50 to trade at $2,348.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.15% to 16,352.00, while AUD/IDR rose 0.10% to 10,911.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 104.88.
