Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Mining, Basic Industry and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA), which rose 22.98% or 74 points to trade at 396 at the close. Meanwhile, Gowa Makassar Tourism Develop (JK:GMTD) added 16.87% or 1400 points to end at 9700 and Duta Intidaya Tbk PT (JK:DAYA) was up 15.15% or 30 points to 228 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk (JK:TBMS), which fell 16.42% or 220.00 points to trade at 1120.00 at the close. Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN) declined 13.58% or 22 points to end at 140 and Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) was down 12.86% or 72 points to 488.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 191 to 123 and 128 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gowa Makassar Tourism Develop (JK:GMTD) rose to 3-years highs; rising 16.87% or 1400 to 9700. Shares in Duta Intidaya Tbk PT (JK:DAYA) rose to all time highs; gaining 15.15% or 30 to 228. Shares in Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) fell to 52-week lows; losing 12.86% or 72 to 488.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $51.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.62% or 0.36 to hit $57.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.38 to trade at $1294.32 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.35% to 13432.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.08% to 10536.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 93.14.
