Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 1.87%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sona Topas Tourism Industry (JK:SONA), which rose 24.89% or 560 points to trade at 2810 at the close. Meanwhile, Holcim Indonesia Tbk (JK:SMCB) added 24.84% or 195 points to end at 980 and Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI) was unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to 424 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which fell 24.05% or 38 points to trade at 120 at the close. Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) declined 22.78% or 36 points to end at 122 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) was down 17.95% or 35 points to 160.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 264 to 130 and 116 ended unchanged.
Shares in Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) fell to 52-week lows; falling 24.05% or 38 to 120. Shares in Holcim Indonesia Tbk (JK:SMCB) rose to 52-week highs; up 24.84% or 195 to 980. Shares in Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI) unchanged to all time highs; unchanged 0.00% or 0 to 424. Shares in Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) fell to 52-week lows; losing 17.95% or 35 to 160.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $65.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.36% or 0.26 to hit $72.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 10.60 to trade at $1194.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 14600.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 10654.80.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 96.22.
