Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Property and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 1.48% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR), which rose 34.97% or 50.00 points to trade at 193.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Borneo Olah Sarana Sukses PT (JK:BOSS) added 25.00% or 150 points to end at 750 and Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) was up 24.62% or 98.00 points to 496.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk (JK:EPMT), which fell 22.07% or 660 points to trade at 2330 at the close. Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) declined 7.89% or 15 points to end at 175 and Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) was down 6.36% or 7.00 points to 103.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 263 to 111 and 107 ended unchanged.
Shares in Borneo Olah Sarana Sukses PT (JK:BOSS) rose to all time highs; gaining 25.00% or 150 to 750. Shares in Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) rose to all time highs; gaining 24.62% or 98.00 to 496.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.83% or 0.51 to $62.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.59% or 0.38 to hit $65.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.70 to trade at $1350.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13551.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.84% to 10803.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 89.04.
