Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Miscellaneous Industry and Trade sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 1.25%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK), which rose 34.58% or 37 points to trade at 144 at the close. Meanwhile, Intermedia Capital Tbk (JK:MDIA) added 34.48% or 40 points to end at 156 and Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) was up 25.00% or 30 points to 150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Reliance Securities Tbk (JK:RELI), which fell 18.13% or 58 points to trade at 262 at the close. Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) declined 10.92% or 38.00 points to end at 310.00 and Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) was down 10.12% or 34.00 points to 302.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 237 to 131 and 127 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.28% or 0.19 to $68.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $78.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.70 to trade at $1210.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.38% to 14791.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.06% to 10614.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 94.49.
