Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Property and Infrastructure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 1.15% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA), which rose 34.41% or 64 points to trade at 250 at the close. Meanwhile, Indonesian Paradise Property (JK:INPP) added 23.81% or 125 points to end at 650 and Lippo Cikarang Tbk (JK:LPCK) was up 23.16% or 440 points to 2340 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA), which fell 23.66% or 310 points to trade at 1000 at the close. Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (JK:ABDA) declined 20.00% or 1120 points to end at 4480 and Estika Tata Tiara Tbk PT (JK:BEEF) was down 15.72% or 50 points to 268.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 234 to 170 and 140 ended unchanged.
Shares in Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (JK:ABDA) fell to 3-years lows; falling 20.00% or 1120 to 4480. Shares in Estika Tata Tiara Tbk PT (JK:BEEF) fell to all time lows; falling 15.72% or 50 to 268.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.65% or 0.33 to $50.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.66% or 0.39 to hit $59.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1288.55 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.19% to 14092.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.07% to 10152.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 95.468.
