Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (JK:SMMA), which rose 711.11% or 12,800.00 points to trade at 14,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Siantar Top Tbk (JK:STTP) added 490.91% or 10,800.00 points to end at 13,000.00 and Mark Dynamics Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:MARK) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 940.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS), which fell 99.33% or 8,095.00 points to trade at 55.00 at the close. Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) declined 98.18% or 4,909.00 points to end at 91.00 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was down 97.72% or 386.00 points to 9.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 402 to 260 and 167 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.57% or 0.42 to $73.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.52% or 0.40 to hit $76.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $2,431.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.82% to 16,021.70, while AUD/IDR fell 0.28% to 10,502.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 102.90.
