Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Property, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (JK:UNIC), which rose 20.00% or 270.00 points to trade at 1620.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Provident Agro Tbk (JK:PALM) added 17.65% or 90 points to end at 600 and Wijaya Karya Tbk (JK:WIKA) was up 12.65% or 325 points to 2895 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which fell 20.48% or 85 points to trade at 330 at the close. Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk (JK:SUPR) declined 15.00% or 1500 points to end at 8500 and Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (JK:PJAA) was down 10.57% or 260 points to 2200.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 206 to 125 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) fell to 3-years lows; falling 20.48% or 85 to 330.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.22% or 0.12 to $57.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.52% or 0.33 to hit $62.34 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.55% or 6.40 to trade at $1162.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.02% to 13330.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.80% to 10165.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 96.41.
