Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ARTO), which fell 0.35% or 10.00 points to trade at 2,810.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,185.71% or 24,900.00 points to end at 27,000.00 and Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk PT (JK:BANK) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 895.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH), which fell 99.03% or 2,352.00 points to trade at 23.00 at the close. Omni Inovasi Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TELE) declined 98.71% or 306.00 points to end at 4.00 and Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA) was down 97.18% or 2,721.00 points to 79.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 354 to 299 and 170 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk PT (JK:BANK) unchanged to 3-years lows; unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to 895.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.39% or 0.30 to $75.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.44% or 0.35 to hit $78.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.60 to trade at $2,462.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.37% to 15,918.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.39% to 10,491.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 103.00.
