Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture, Miscellaneous Industry and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Hd Capital Tbk (JK:HADE), which rose 33.33% or 19.00 points to trade at 76.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Steady Safe TBK PT (JK:SAFE) added 26.00% or 26 points to end at 126 and Golden Plantation Tbk (JK:GOLL) was up 20.00% or 22.00 points to 132.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY), which fell 10.00% or 14 points to trade at 126 at the close. Argha Karya Prima Ind Tbk (JK:AKPI) declined 9.50% or 85 points to end at 810 and Bukit Darmo Property Tbk (JK:BKDP) was down 9.09% or 7 points to 70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 201 to 101 and 79 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hd Capital Tbk (JK:HADE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 33.33% or 19.00 to 76.00. Shares in Bukit Darmo Property Tbk (JK:BKDP) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.09% or 7 to 70.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.85% or 0.38 to $44.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.33% or 0.15 to hit $45.37 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.78% or 9.85 to trade at $1274.65 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.11% to 13318.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.08% to 9743.20.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 94.07.
