Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.75% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Barito Renewables Energy PT Tbk (JK:BREN), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 8,425.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Pt (JK:SAMF) added 579.17% or 695.00 points to end at 815.00 and Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk PT (JK:PSSI) was up 218.52% or 295.00 points to 430.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN), which fell 99.93% or 6,795.00 points to trade at 5.00 at the close. Bumi Resources Tbk (JK:BUMI) declined 98.31% or 4,424.00 points to end at 76.00 and Hensel Davest Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:HDIT) was down 97.90% or 514.00 points to 11.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 359 to 303 and 164 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.51% or 0.41 to $79.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.53% or 0.44 to hit $81.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 3.30 to trade at $2,500.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.67% to 15,833.75, while AUD/IDR fell 0.44% to 10,456.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 103.04.
