Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Polychem Indonesia Tbk (JK:ADMG), which rose 34.88% or 30 points to trade at 116 at the close. Meanwhile, Kedawung Setia Industrial Tbk (JK:KDSI) added 21.67% or 39 points to end at 219 and Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI) was up 21.25% or 17 points to 97 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH), which fell 10.00% or 55 points to trade at 495 at the close. Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) declined 9.92% or 12 points to end at 109 and Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (JK:TKIM) was down 8.66% or 55 points to 580.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 203 to 110 and 46 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.10% or 0.04 to $46.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.32% or 0.16 to hit $50.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.31% or 3.50 to trade at $1130.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.40% to 14207.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.29% to 9953.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 95.93.
