Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Basic Industry and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.68% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Kabelindo Murni Tbk (JK:KBLM), which rose 24.83% or 74 points to trade at 372 at the close. Meanwhile, Paninvest Tbk (JK:PNIN) added 24.67% or 280 points to end at 1415 and Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CASA) was up 17.52% or 48 points to 322 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA), which fell 15.73% or 56 points to trade at 300 at the close. Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) declined 12.95% or 125 points to end at 840 and Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (JK:LMPI) was down 9.13% or 19 points to 189.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 209 to 148 and 121 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA) fell to 5-year lows; losing 15.73% or 56 to 300. Shares in Paninvest Tbk (JK:PNIN) rose to all time highs; rising 24.67% or 280 to 1415. Shares in Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CASA) rose to all time highs; rising 17.52% or 48 to 322.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.17% or 0.11 to $65.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $70.48 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 10.00 to trade at $1352.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.02% to 13309.2, while AUD/IDR fell 0.40% to 10706.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 88.78.
