Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Infrastructure and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (JK:DOID), which rose 31.53% or 35 points to trade at 146 at the close. Meanwhile, Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (JK:MBSS) added 25.00% or 74 points to end at 370 and Mnc Sky Vision Tbk (JK:MSKY) was up 24.48% or 235 points to 1195 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA), which fell 9.63% or 13.00 points to trade at 122.00 at the close. Sierad Produce Tbk (JK:SIPD) declined 9.56% or 65 points to end at 615 and Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST) was down 9.17% or 215 points to 2130.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 174 to 116 and 89 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (JK:DOID) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 31.53% or 35 to 146. Shares in Sierad Produce Tbk (JK:SIPD) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.56% or 65 to 615.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.07% or 0.91 to $44.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.33% or 1.06 to hit $46.64 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.32% or 3.95 to trade at $1247.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 13200.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.99% to 10013.40.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 94.36.
