Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.63% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Magna Finance Tbk (JK:MGNA), which rose 34.44% or 31.00 points to trade at 121.00 at the close. Meanwhile, PT First Indo American Leasing Tbk (JK:FINN) added 20.14% or 29 points to end at 173 and Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS) was up 18.67% or 62 points to 394 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP), which fell 11.89% or 22 points to trade at 163 at the close. Panca Global Securities Tbk (JK:PEGE) declined 9.09% or 26.00 points to end at 260.00 and Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance PT (JK:MTWI) was down 5.88% or 16 points to 256.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 189 to 151 and 134 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.72% or 0.98 to $57.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.88% or 0.55 to hit $63.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.92 to trade at $1283.62 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13522.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.52% to 10202.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.75.
