Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Trade, Financials and Infrastructure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.62% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM), which rose 24.72% or 88 points to trade at 444 at the close. Meanwhile, Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk (JK:EPMT) added 24.44% or 440 points to end at 2240 and Tiphone Mobile Indonesia Tbk (JK:TELE) was up 22.79% or 155 points to 835 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kota Satu Properti Tbk PT (JK:SATU), which fell 20.00% or 40 points to trade at 160 at the close. Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA) declined 11.76% or 20 points to end at 150 and Trikomsel Oke Tbk (JK:TRIO) was down 10.71% or 21 points to 175.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 231 to 166 and 119 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kota Satu Properti Tbk PT (JK:SATU) fell to all time lows; falling 20.00% or 40 to 160. Shares in Trikomsel Oke Tbk (JK:TRIO) fell to all time lows; losing 10.71% or 21 to 175.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.76% or 0.47 to $62.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.86% or 0.62 to hit $72.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1224.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 14616.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.05% to 10687.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.07.
