Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Arkadia Digital Media Tbk PT (JK:DIGI), which rose 24.62% or 160 points to trade at 810 at the close. Meanwhile, PT Trimuda Nuansa Citra Tbk (JK:TNCA) added 24.00% or 30 points to end at 155 and Pratama Abadi Nusa Industri Tbk PT (JK:PANI) was up 17.71% or 34 points to 226 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were First Media Tbk (JK:KBLV), which fell 17.96% or 88 points to trade at 402 at the close. Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS) declined 15.19% or 72 points to end at 402 and Abm Investama Tbk (JK:ABMM) was down 14.35% or 310 points to 1850.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 191 to 184 and 124 ended unchanged.
Shares in First Media Tbk (JK:KBLV) fell to all time lows; down 17.96% or 88 to 402.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.62% or 0.46 to $74.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.89% or 0.75 to hit $84.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1190.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.44% to 15289.2, while AUD/IDR rose 0.21% to 10776.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 95.73.
