Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM), which rose 19.40% or 2250 points to trade at 13850 at the close. Meanwhile, Smr Utama Tbk (JK:SMRU) added 18.75% or 78 points to end at 494 and Akbar Indomakmur Stimec Tbk (JK:AIMS) was up 13.16% or 20 points to 172 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Energy Mines Tbk (JK:GEMS), which fell 10.00% or 280 points to trade at 2520 at the close. Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p) declined 9.86% or 70.00 points to end at 640.00 and Ayana Land International Tbk PT (JK:NASA) was down 9.52% or 40 points to 380.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 213 to 125 and 118 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.47% or 0.23 to $48.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.58% or 0.30 to hit $51.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.78 to trade at $1287.22 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 13351.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.02% to 10484.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 93.22.
