Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Basic Industry and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.59% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA), which rose 25.00% or 64 points to trade at 320 at the close. Meanwhile, Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) added 24.79% or 295 points to end at 1485 and Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Jasa Mitra Abadi Tbk PT (JK:JMAS) was up 24.64% or 170 points to 860 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk (JK:TBMS), which fell 17.93% or 165.00 points to trade at 755.00 at the close. Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) declined 17.20% or 135 points to end at 650 and Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS) was down 16.13% or 25.00 points to 130.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 175 to 166 and 129 ended unchanged.
Shares in Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) rose to all time highs; up 24.79% or 295 to 1485. Shares in Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Jasa Mitra Abadi Tbk PT (JK:JMAS) rose to all time highs; gaining 24.64% or 170 to 860.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.22% or 0.13 to $59.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.33% or 0.22 to hit $66.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.20 to trade at $1294.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.11% to 13551.2, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10532.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.44.
